Lettuce and mayonnaise sandwiches have paid off for Llewely Grifiths, who has just bought his first house at the age of 21.
The architecture student picked up the keys to a two-flat property in the Wellington suburb of Northland, opposite the Botanic Gardens, on Wednesday.
